Yes. The Library has negotiated two Read and Publish Agreements with Publishers.

The agreements are with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Company of Biologists. The ACM program is called ACM Open. When Caltech authors submit their manuscripts to journals published by these two societies there are no fees and, if accepted, the paper is published Open Access (OA).

For specific information about ACM Open please see this detailed guide - https://libguides.caltech.edu/ACM-OPEN

The Company of Biologists maintains a page that details their Read and Publish Program - https://www.biologists.com/library-hub/read-publish/

Please email library@caltech.edu with any questions about these agreements.

Please also refer to the related FAQ that lists Article Processing Charge (APC) discounts available to Caltech authors when publishing with specific publishers - https://libanswers.caltech.edu/faq/261308
