Zotero Connector works with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. (Zotero Connector for Safari is bundled with Zotero. You can enable it from the Extensions pane of the Safari preferences.)

If you're not using one of the browsers listed above, you can still collect citations:

  1. Create a Zotero account online.

  2. Sync it with Zotero Standalone.

  3. Go to Zotero's Save page.

    1. You may be prompted to login first.

    2. Enter a URL, ISBN, DOI, PMID, or arXiv ID in the field provided.

    3. Click 'Search'

    4. Choose which library you want to save the citation in.

    5. Click 'Save'

You can also check out the Zotero Bookmarklet page for other options.
