If you use SciX (formerly ADS), it's important you adjust your preferences so that our library's subscriptions are accessible when you're searching in SciX. You can set this up when you're logged in to your SciX (formerly ADS) account.  (If you already had an ADS account, SciX was also set up for you automatically).

  • Under Account, top right, select Settings.
  • Click on Library Link Server on the left side of the page.
  • Use the drop down menu to select "California Institute of Technology" as your home institution.

Once you've saved your settings, you may see (not always) a "My Institution" link with a graduation cap image on abstract pages. In most cases, you will also see a "Publisher" link. This link will take you to our library's full text access to journal articles. However, note the holdings. Not all titles we have subscribed to have full runs of volumes and dates. Please check PubFinder to verify dates of coverages.
