You may choose to accept or decline EBSCO’s Data Retention and Usage consent form before using LibSearch for the first time.

If you accept, you are able to use LibSearch features that involve personalization and identifiers, such as:

  • Save items to folders
  • Access saved folders
  • See your search history
  • Check out ebooks and other materials

After accepting, you will not be prompted to review the Data Retention and Usage consent form again. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time, which will delete any previously retained data and account information from EBSCO’s platform. Be sure to save items or permalinks before withdrawing consent.

  • How to withdraw consent: Sign in to LibSearch, select Update My Account at top, select Personal Data Retention and Usage, then select Remove My Data.

If you decline or withdraw your consent, you will not be able to use the LibSearch features listed above that involve personalization and identifiers, due to regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You will be prompted to accept or decline the consent form each time you use LibSearch.
