Members of the Caltech community who have Access Caltech credentials are able to log into LibSearch to view checked out items, renew items, place holds on items, and recall items that are currently checked out.

To log in, click on either the Welcome Guest link or the Sign In button at the top of the LibSearch page.

You will then be prompted to login with your Access Caltech credentials.

Once you’re logged in, and you’ve found an item you’d like to check out, click on Place Request.

Then you will be prompted to decide if you want the first available copy or a specific copy and to decide where you want to pick the item up. Once you decide, click on the Submit button and you should receive an email about your request.

Please note: The only pickup location is the Sherman Fairchlid Library (SFL) Circulation Desk.
