SURF students visiting Caltech for the summer can borrow up to 5 books from the Library for 4 weeks at a time. This does not include computer equipment, edevices (Kindles, laptops, etc.) or bikes.
With your Caltech ID card, you have evening and weekend access to the Sherman Fairchild and Caltech Hall Libraries. You also have a printing allowance of $25 with the library printers. If your printing charges exceed $25, you will be charged the excess balance.
Finally, you have access to the Techlab but you need to schedule an orientation session before using the 3D printers. You can email techlab@library.caltech.edu for more information.
