Q. What metadata fields are used in CaltechDATA?

Our metadata is derived from the DataCite 4.3 schema, with some customizations as part of the InvenioRDM repository platform. You can upload records using the standard DataCite 4.3 schema using the caltechdata_api python wrapper, or upload records in the InvenioRDM schema using the InvenioRDM API. You can retrieve our metadata in the InvenioRDM schema using the search API, or in a variety of other export formats when requesting individual records. Bulk requesting alternative metadata formats will be available in a future upgrade.
