For most items requested through DocuServe, you will not be charged. This includes articles, books, and book chapters. There are a few exceptions, where you will be charged. These exceptions include:

ASTM Standards
Theses (non-Caltech)
Market reports
If there is a charge to request the item, DocuServe staff will contact you to authorize your request.
