Yes, the library has topographic maps (7.5 and 15-minute) only for the following states: California, Arizona, and Nevada. They can be checked out or scanned/copied using the large-scale printer and scanner located in the TechHub.

Please note that the USGS has long stopped shipping print maps since around the late 1990s to early 2000s. The Library is only able to keep one edition of whatever the latest edition recieved was. To see all editions, please visit the USGS Topoview site.

There are also many other electronic resources for accessing maps online.  Visit the LibGuide page on maps for online map resources.

The Map Room collection is located just outside the Mudd Library on the second floor of N. Mudd, Room 207.

If you are a member of the GPS Division, your division master key will allow you full access to the Map Room 24/7. For users that are from other divisions, please contact us to make arrangements to use the Map Room.
