If you use the Astrophysics Data System, it's important you adjust your preferences so that our library's subscriptions are accessible when you're searching in ADS. You can set this up when you're logged in to your ADS account.
Under Account select Settings. Click on Library Link Server on the left side of the page. Use the drop down menu to select "California Institute of Technology" as your home institution. Once you've saved your settings, you'll see My Institution links on abstract pages. This link will take you to our library's full text access to journal articles.
August, 2023 - OpenAthens:
With our change from EZProxy to OpenAthens, it's necessary to update your Library Link settings in ADS. To do this:
https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/
(you must be signed in)
Click Settings in the top right corner
Select Library Link Server on the left
[All of your previous settings have cleared with our change from EZProxy to OpenAthens. All of you who had selected Caltech Library now have "Nothing Selected"]
Click the blue button "Update"
Use the drop-down menu and select California Institute of Technology
Click the green, Apply, button
When you're done you should see:
Current Link Server: California Institute of Technology.
