If you cannot locate the book you are looking for, you could place a hold on the item. We will conduct a search for the book. If found, we will pull it, place it on hold, and notify you when it is ready to be picked up. If we cannot find the book, we will attempt to acquire a replacement copy or request it through interlibrary loan on your behalf.
If you're in LibSearch, you'll need to first click through to the Library Catalog:
From the library catalog, click the Log In button next to the item you want to place a hold on:
And then click Place a Hold:
If you're a library user who doesn't have an access.caltech account, please instead email us (email@example.com) or call us (626-394-3405) and we'll place the hold for you. Please note, if we cannot locate the item, interlibrary loan is only available to current Caltech faculty, students, and staff.
