If a book is recalled from you, it means another person requested it. Once you receive a recall notice, you have seven days to return the book to the Library. If it's not returned by this adjusted due date, you will receive an overdue recall notice and your account could be blocked if it's not returned. 

The Caltech Library Lending Code states that it's a patron's responsibility to return recalled materials before they are due.
