If the library doesn't have the book you want, there are two options.

  • If the book is relevant to your research or teaching, you think others will be interested in it, and you want it for more than a few weeks, fill out our 'Suggest a Book' form. We'll get back to you soon and let you know if we're buying it for the library collection. Please note you must be a member of the Caltech community (with access.caltech credentials) to suggest a purchase.

  • If you only need the book briefly, it's for a personal project, or we've told you we're unable to buy it, request the book through DocuServe, our Interlibrary Loan service. We'll borrow the book from another library for you.
